The first semester engages with sustainable theories and strategies to prepare you for the studio semester. On Campus students prepare and present a series of seminar presentations, whilst distance learners complete a series of weblogs that document their study.

Our assignments include an infrastructure project at the scale of a new settlement, then focusing in on the specifics of what's involved with sustainable retrofit.

semester 2 projects.

The semester embeds itself in the city city looking at widely differing conditions. Students have the opportunity to engage with masterplanning and detailed building design. An elaboration project allows the use of building simulation packages on the design.
